Corrections Policy

Stingray System values accuracy in all content we publish. We commit to providing our readers with factual and reliable information. Errors can occur, and we take swift, transparent action to correct them. Our goal is to maintain trust and transparency with our audience.

Types of Corrections

We categorize errors into three types based on their impact and nature:

  • Minor Corrections: These include typos, grammatical errors, broken links, or minor factual inaccuracies that do not alter the overall meaning of an article. We fix these quickly without a formal note.
  • Significant Corrections: These are substantive factual errors, misrepresentations, or omissions that could mislead readers or change the understanding of the content. Such corrections receive a clear notice.
  • Retractions: We issue a retraction when an article contains fundamental errors or inaccuracies that invalidate its entire premise. This action is rare and indicates the content no longer meets our editorial standards.

How Corrections Are Noted

For significant corrections, we add a clear editor’s note. This note appears at the top or bottom of the affected article. It states what was corrected, the date of the correction, and the reason for the change. Retracted articles will display a prominent notice indicating their retraction status.

Reporting an Error

Readers play a vital role in upholding our accuracy standards. If you find an error, please report it to us. Send an email to [email protected]. Include the article title, the URL, and a clear description of the error. We appreciate your vigilance.

Review Timeline

Our editorial team reviews all reported errors promptly. We aim to acknowledge your report within 2 business days. Following review, we will investigate the claim and take appropriate action. Complex corrections may require more time.

Transparency

All significant corrections are publicly noted on the relevant articles. We believe in transparent communication about any changes made to our published content. This policy helps maintain the integrity of our information.
